Party Alert! Boston Compliance Meetup
Calling all compliance, audit, and risk professionals around Boston: we’ll be hosting another after-work cocktail party on Tuesday, Feb. 6. All are welcome to attend, meet colleagues, and talk shop.
A few compliance enthusiasts in town (me included) have been trying to hold these networking events every other month. Boston doesn’t have nearly as much of a compliance community as other cities in the United States, which is crazy, considering the wide range of expertise we have here. So if you’ll be in the neighborhood and have no plans, please come!
The cocktail hour will happen at the Waltham Westin Hotel, for all you compliance professionals working along Route 128. Admission is free, but we do ask that attendees register in advance so we can give the bar staff advance warning on headcount.
The Boston Compliance Meetup organizers are trying to hold these parties every six weeks or so, alternating locations between Route 128 and downtown Boston. So for all of you working in Boston or Cambridge, who don’t want to fight rush hour traffic — we don’t blame you, and we’ll get you next time, which should be in late March or early April.
The registration page is on EventBrite.com, along with a few other FAQs about this event that are well worth reading.
We hope to see you there.
(Needless to say, if compliance groups in other cities host networking events, we are happy to add them to the Radical Compliance events page, free of charge.)
