Compliance Jobs News
We begin with Joel Katz, former chief compliance officer at CA and one of the more prolific thinkers in corporate ethics and compliance. After taking the summer off, Katz has resurfaced as chief integrity and compliance officer for Honeywell Homes and Distribution. The business will be spun out of Honeywell by the end of this year into a publicly traded firm, Resideo, with $4.7 billion in revenue and 15,000 employees.
In Boston, Anthony Dell has been named chief compliance officer for General Catalyst, a venture capital firm. Dell, who goes by “Boomer” to his friends, spent six years as chief ethics and compliance officer for Ares Capital Management and then the last year as a compliance consultant.
Pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim promoted Mariam Talia to regional compliance officer based in Dubai. Talia previously was an ethics and compliance officer for the company in South Africa.
CSAA Insurance Group, a firm in Walnut Creek, Calif., that runs all those AAA insurance plans you get in the mail, has promoted Junna Ro to vice president of corporate compliance and employment law. Ro joined the company in 2005 and she has led the ethics and compliance function since 2012.
Promoted: Allegra Koffler, at Lockheed Martin, to senior contracts negotiator, in Orlando, Fla. Koffler joined the company in 2014.
Also promoted: Ebrahim Asadi AlMarzouqi, now assistant manager for compliance for Mashreq Bank in Dubai. He has been with the bank since 2017.
Consulting firm IQVIA has hired Susan Lipsitz to be associate general counsel and chief compliance officer. Lipsitz, previously senior associate general counsel for labor and employment for manufacturing services firm Jabil, is based in Boston.
Jennifer Collins has joined research and consulting firm Abt Associates in Rockville, Md., as corporate counsel. Collins previously was compliance and ethics director for Fannie Mae.
Callie Edwards has been promoted to ethics and compliance program lead for oil and gas company Weatherford in Houston. Edwards rejoined the company in January after spending a year outside the compliance field, but had previously worked at Weatherford earlier in the 2010s and spent seven years in compliance roles at Waste Management, too.
In Nigeria, Law Union & Rock Insurance has named Peter Imona head of enterprise risk management. Imona had previously been chief risk officer for Linkage Assurance in Lagos.
And Nicholas Bosworth has been hired as a risk and compliance officer for the Bank of Ireland in Stamford, Conn. Bosworth is a recent graduate of Suffolk University Law School in Boston. Welcome to the profession, Bosworth; it’s a good one.
Milestones
Jonathan Sahady just hit one year as healthcare compliance counsel at Organogenesis, a biotech firm in Boston.
Laurie Labissiere, principal ethics analyst with Raytheon, is celebrating five years with the company.

The Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and the Health Care Compliance Association have named new members to their shared board of directors:
- Samantha Kelen, lead ethics analyst, Duke Energy;
- Louis Perold, global compliance counsel, Africa, Middle East, India, Jabil;
- Judy Ringholz, vice president of compliance and ethics, Jackson Health System;
- Robert Bond, partner, Bristows;
- Dan Roach, chief compliance officer, Optum360; and
- Debbie Troklus, senior managing partner, Ankura Consulting.

Time to say farewell to Actiance, a vendor of communications compliance solutions; Smarsh completed its merger of the firm this week, and the combined company work under the Smarsh name with headquarters in Portland, Ore.
Law firm Labaton Sucharow has hired Richard Levine, former associate general counsel for at the Securities and Exchange Commission, as a partner in its whistleblower group.
Gabriel Hidalgo has taken a job as managing director in the regulatory compliance practice for K2 Intelligence in New York. Hidalgo previously was chief compliance officer for Noble Bank International.
Remember Mike Lamberth, former chief compliance officer for Capital One’s consumer lending division, who joined KPMG in its risk advisory practice? Just made partner, so drinks are on him.

Fortive, a healthcare services company in suburban Seattle that breathlessly says “we believe in you,” is looking to hire a chief compliance officer for a newly acquired products division.
Henry Schein Inc. is looking for an associate manager of compliance. Job is based in Melville, N.Y.
And because I love Wyoming, the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments is looking for an entry-level auditor. Go west, young man or woman.
