Nilza Casiano has joined Santander Bank as vice president of transaction monitoring and compliance systems. Casiano, based in Trumbull, Conn., previously worked for Exiger in New York as a managing consultant.
Felipe Kietzmann has left his job as compliance director for healthcare company DaVita International to become regional compliance head for Latin America with German pharmaceutical firm Grünenthal Group. Kietzmann is based in Panama.
Moving up the charts: Warner Music Group has promoted chief corporate governance and securities counsel Trent Tappe, who was also chief compliance officer, to general counsel. Tappe will retain the chief compliance officer title, which we frown upon in principle, but whatever.
Cross-town traffic: Danielle Herrick has left one New York insurer for another, leaving her role as head of compliance at Attune for a new job as vice president of compliance for U.S. business at MetLife.
Swiss medical company Alcon, a Novartis spinoff, has promoted Sofia Arroja to senior compliance analyst. Arroja, based in Fribourg, Switzerland, joined the company in 2010.
Roman Rosiak has been promoted to global compliance and ethics program director for Guardian Industries in Luxembourg. Rosiak joined Guardian, a glass company owned by Koch Industries, in 2016.
Dental equipment manufacturer Dentsply Sirona has promoted Augusta Speiser to director of compliance & ethics and global data protection officer. Speiser, who joined the company in 2010, is based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Wells Fargo has hired Al Silipigni as conduct control executive for payments, virtual solutions, and innovation. Based in New York, Silipigni previously was senior vice president and U.S. head of conduct risk for HSBC.
Ayari Martin del Campo is now Latin America ethics and compliance director for vitamin maker RB/Schiff Nutrition International. Del Campo previously was a regional compliance officer for Grünenthal Group since 2015.
Benoît Theunissen has taken a job as manager of anti-money laundering compliance for cross-border payment service provider HomeSend in Brussels. Theunissen previously worked as a senior analyst in AML compliance for RBC Investor and Treasury Services in Luxembourg.
Philip Rothenberg, top securities lawyer at the executively challenged Tesla, is putting that job in the rear-view mirror. He is leaving Tesla to be general counsel of a hospitality startup called Sonder. His new job is based in San Francisco.
Jersey City, N.J.-based Verisk Analytics has hired Tom Orsini to serve as privacy counsel. Orsini comes to Verisk from Fidelity Investments, where he was senior legal counsel for e-discovery and other issues, based in New York.
And after a few months running his own consulting firm in the Phoenix area, Carl Winekoff is now regional director of compliance for Seattle.-based health network Providence St. Joseph Health.

President Trump has nominated Neomi Rao, the administration’s deregulation chief, to fill the federal appeals court seat in Washington, D.C., left vacant by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Rao has run the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs since 2017. Her nomination requires Senate confirmation, and lord knows when that might happen, which also means lord knows when a new OIRA chief might come along.

Christopher Campbell has a new job as advisory manager for connected product cybersecurity for Ernst & Young. Campbell previously managed cybersecurity engineering and privacy for vehicle connected services for Nissan Motor Corp.

Michigan State University is looking for an associate vice president for the Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Education and Compliance. Be sure to see our previous posts about Michigan State and its compliance structure before you apply.
Tektronix, a company that breathlessly says it “explores the boundaries of what’s possible, bringing the digital future one step closer every day” but actually makes precision testing equipment, is looking for a chief compliance counsel. Job is based in Portland, Oreg.
Novo Nordisk has two compliance jobs to fill: associate director of ethics and compliance, and manager of ethics and compliance. Both jobs based in New Jersey.
