She will report to chief risk officer Sidney Majalya, who only joined Binance.us in December.
Speaking of cryptocurrency: remember Scott Bauguess, deputy director of economic research and analysis at the Securities and Exchange Commission until 2019? He just turned up at Coinbase (“a digital currency wallet and platform”) as vice president of global regulatory policy. Bauguess has been teaching at the University of Texas since he left the SEC. He is also believed to be behind the very funny Twitter feed that the SEC’s Division of Economic Research & Analysis used to have during his tenure there.

We also have a shout out this week to Ren McEachern, who is leaving investigative and consulting firm Exiger after four years as managing director. No word yet on what he’ll do next, although he does say “I am moving on with precision and purpose and couldn’t be more excited.” Radical Compliance will keep tabs on where he turns up.
