Mohlenkamp joins DXC (IT services firm and government contractor, headquartered in Virginia) after 24 years at Deloitte. For the last eight of those years she had been a principal in the firm’s enterprise compliance services practice, and she was deputy ethics officer at the firm from 1996 to 2014.

Also in South America: Angie Armer has joined global logistics business Kuehne+Nagel as regional compliance officer for Central and South America, working from Chile. Armer was previously chief risk and compliance officer for the Latin America operations of Orpea, a French business that runs assisted living and long-term care facilities around the world.

Novartis has hired Heidi Teresi as head of the pharma giant’s “Speakup Office” in the Americas. Teresi comes to Novartis after two years at Bausch Health Cos., where she had been director of ethics and compliance. Like any good pharma executive, she’s based in New Jersey.

Remember Bill Cairney, chief compliance officer at TIAA until the end of 2020 and chief compliance officer of Barclays’ registered investment adviser operations before that? He just turned up at American Portfolios, a broker-dealer firm based in New York, as chief compliance officer.

Augusta University, one of the campuses in the University System of Georgia, has promoted Brittany Alls from director of ethics and compliance to vice president of ethics and compliance. Alls has been with the school since 2019.

And Seagen has hired Alicia Wright as a contractor in its compliance operations center. Wright joins Seagen after two years doing “full-time parenting” — which, as I’ve said many times before, is excellent experience for a career in corporate compliance.

Elena Ceberio is celebrating one year as vice president of internal audit at FibroGen
