This week we begin at Allianz, where Herve Gloaguen has stepped down after more than 30 years at the company, including his most recent stints as chief compliance officer and head of internal audit. Glouaguen wrote a touching departure note on LinkedIn, and we wish him well in his next venture (which at the moment seems to be a solo consulting practice, Paracas Advisors). No word yet on who will succeed Gloaguen as CCO.
Mastercard has promoted Karen Griffin from chief compliance officer to chief risk officer. In her new role, Griffin will oversee risk management strategy and activities. She had been CCO at Mastercard since 2014 and is a delightful person.
Miriam Di Traglia is taking on more responsibilities at United Group, the Dutch telecommunications giant. Di Traglia had been group head of compliance; now she is executive director for compliance, risk management, and data protection. She joined United Group last year.
Toshiba has hired Misty Robinson as vice president of ethics and compliance. Robinson, based in Houston, comes to the electronics manufacturer after two years at Applied Materials, where she had been director of ethics and compliance.
Access TeleCare has hired Joan Kavuru as chief compliance and privacy officer. Kavuru comes to the Dallas-based healthcare firm after six months at Advanced Recovery Systems, where she was chief compliance officer.
Quantum Energy Partners, a private equity firm that targets the energy industry, has hired Sharmin Beacco as chief compliance officer. Prior to Quantum, Beacco was chief compliance officer at TGM Associates, a New York-based asset manager.
Down in Australia, Sebastian Maucher has joined Johnson & Johnson as healthcare compliance director for the Australia-New Zealand region. Maucher joins J&J from Sanofi, where he was head of business ethics and integrity for the ANZ region.
ScionHealth has hired Lauren Lopez as director of partner business integrity. Lopez comes to Scion after stints at Texas Health Resources and Conifer Health in various privacy and compliance roles.
Oyster Point Pharma has promoted Amanda Leleszi, from director of U.S. compliance and ethics to senior director.
University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center has promoted Abigail Jackson, from director of privacy to assistant vice president for compliance, audit operations, and privacy. Jackson has been with UT Southwestern Medical since 2019.
Galderama has promoted Eduardo Lemes from ethics and compliance lead for Latin America to senior compliance manager. Lemes has worked for the skincare company since last year, operating from Brazil.
POSaBIT, a fintech startup catering to the weed industry, has hired Sarah Mirsky-Terranova as chief compliance officer. Mirsky-Terranova comes to the company from Synctera, a banking software firm, where she had been chief compliance officer.
Cigna Healthcare has promoted Valerie Fortin, from senior director of legal compliance to managing director of enterprise compliance. Fortin has been with Cigna for nine years.
Sutton Bank, a community bank in Ohio, has hired Terri Germano as deputy chief compliance officer. Germano comes to the bank after four years at Sallie Mae Bank, where she was director of internal audit.
In Chicago, consulting firm Sikich has hired Melanie Mui as an internal audit manager. Mui was previously an audit manager at Vonya Global for two years.
TrueBlue, a staffing company based in Seattle, has hired DeeDee Dugat as compliance manager. Dugat joins the company from Change Healthcare, where she had been a fraud and compliance investigations specialist.
CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield has promoted Jennifer Bowman from lead ethics and compliance analyst to senior adviser on corporate risk assurance.
And Digi Spain Telecom has hired Gonzalo Echenique Conde as compliance officer, working in Madrid. Conde previously worked as a professor teaching ethics and compliance issues in Spain, and as a solo compliance consultant.
Milestones
Noreen Fierro is celebrating one year as chief compliance officer at Principal Financial Group.
Rachel Koontz just hit one year at T-Mobile, where she is senior counsel for cybersecurity compliance.
Norman Levine is celebrating one year at Omnicom, where he is senior manager for cyber risk management.
Cheyenne Ross is celebrating one year at P3 Health Partners, a hospital system based in Nevada, as vice president of compliance.
Lesli Wieczorek is celebrating one year at Tennant Co., where she is principal compliance specialist.
Byran Judice is celebrating five years at Panasonic, where these days he is global head of compliance data analytics.
Scott McAdams is celebrating five years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City, where he is chief audit, risk, and compliance officer.
And Kara Novelli just hit five years at Applied Materials, where she is global ethics and compliance manager.

Acer Therapeutics is looking for a director of SOX compliance and SEC reporting. Job is remote, although Acer is based in suburban Boston. Pay range is estimated at $160,000 to $195,000.
Applied Materials is looking for a director of ethics and anti-corruption compliance. Job is based in Austin, Texas; and sounds suspiciously like the role that previously belonged to Misty Robinson, mentioned above.
