Compliance Jobs Report: April 21
The Compliance Jobs Report this week has another game of revolving chairs in the banking world, plus new hires at First Bank, FNB, Velo3D, Skillsoft, and several other companies. We also have job leads in banking, mobile phones, and New York City government; and Meme of the Week is in honor of Earth Day!
As always, thank you to all the compliance people sending me tips and links to keep this report going. We need your help to make the Report work, so send me some news! If you have a tip to pass along, email me at [email protected] or find me on LinkedIn.
Compliance Jobs News
This week we begin at Barclays, which just hired Kristy Everett to be the bank’s next chief compliance officer. Barclays lured Everett away from HSBC, where she had been group head of compliance since 2021. Everett succeeds Matt Fitzwater, who has been interim chief compliance officer since Laura Padovani left the top compliance job at Barclays to join Deutsche Bank.
Jordan Walters has joined FirstBank, a mid-sized bank in Tennessee, as IT audit manager. Walters comes to FirstBank from Pinnacle Financial Partners, where he had also been IT audit manager.
Circa Behavioral Healthcare, a California company that provides professional services to the behavioral health industry, has hired Maeve O’Neill as national compliance director. O’Neill previously worked at Rogers Behavioral Health as chief regulatory officer.
Neeraja Puri has joined Velo3D, maker of metal three-dimensional printing technologies, as head of information security and compliance. Puri joins the company from Google, where she had been GRC lead for engineering programs. One hopes she gets a free 3D printer as part of the perks package.
Amy March has joined FNB Corp., another mid-sized financial services firm, as managing director and chief compliance officer. March comes to FNB after 11 years at PNC Bank, where most recently she had been senior vice president for enterprise compliance programs.
Canadian Solar has promoted Megha Khanna, from corporate compliance manager to senior manager for corporate compliance and risk. Khanna has been with the company for seven years.
Helsinn Group, a Swiss pharmaceutical company working on cancer treatments, has promoted Federica Feliciello from ethics and business integrity manager to group head of ethics and compliance.
One more promotion: Brooke Haynes, at Sutter Health in California, promoted from legal and regulatory compliance analyst to compliance program manager.
And Matt Vanderpool has left his job as chief compliance officer at Solis Mammography in Dallas, to be general counsel at VitalCaring Group, also based in Dallas. No word yet one who might succeed him as chief compliance officer at Solis.
Milestones
Marianne Ibrahim is celebrating one year at ChampionX, a logistics business in the oil & gas industry, where she is chief compliance officer.
Lukas Barba just hit one year at Glencore as compliance training administrator.
Sasha Kalb is celebrating one year at Barclays, where she is director of financial crimes compliance.
Curt Schwall is celebrating one year as vice president of global compliance at Certin in Ohio.
MaryAnn Northrup is celebrating five years at St. Vincent Health, where these days she is senior director of compliance for the Indiana market.

Vendors & Service Providers
Stephen Martin has joined Skillsoft as chief compliance officer. Martin previously was a partner at StoneTurn Consulting.
Rebecca Hughes Parker has joined law firm Dentons as a partner in the firm’s litigation practice. Parker had previously been editor-in-chief of both the Global Anticorruption Report and the Cybersecurity Law Report. Plus, fun fact: Parker had previously worked at Dentons from 2004 to 2012.
Open Req Orders
TIAA Bank is looking for a director of sanctions compliance. Job can be based in either Jacksonville, Fla., or Charlotte, N.C. Salary range is listed at $133,000 to $222,000, which strikes me as so wide as to be nearly useless.
T-Mobile is looking for a corporate counsel for compliance and ethics. Job is based in Bellevue, Wash. Salary range listed as $194,500 to $263,000.
And New York City’s corporation counsel is creating two new divisions, one for ethics and compliance and the other for risk management. No word yet on specific vacancies but keep an eye on the NYC Law Department for future updates.
