Oooh, Walmart Connect, the advertising wing of the Walmart empire, finally filled that senior manager for “speciality compliance and ethics” role we noted earlier this year. The winning candidate is Danielle Maglente, who previously worked at SharpenCX as compliance counsel. I still don’t know exactly what this specialty compliance job entails, but the title sounds cool.
DOWC, an insurance services firm, has hired Claudia Saavedra as a level II compliance specialist. Saavedra joins the New Jersey-based firm from Crowe, where she had been a senior consultant since 2021.
