Compliance Jobs Report: Jan. 10
This week the Compliance Jobs Report is full of mystery! The former compliance chief at Netflix has a new job somewhere; and a few folks are leaving other compliance posts and promising updates soon. We also have other items from UCB, Revolution Medicines, Henkel, Mars, PIMCO, and much more. Meme of the Week goes out to artificial intelligence risks!
The success of the Jobs Report depends on you, so send me some news! You can easily find updates from your LinkedIn contacts by visiting the My Network tab on your own profile and then checking the Stay in Touch option at the top of that page.
We also take any other gossip you might have, even confidentially. If you have a tip to pass along, email me at mkelly@radicalcompliance.com or find me on LinkedIn.
Compliance Jobs
This week we begin with an uplifting but somewhat cryptic update from Adam Hunt, previously head of global compliance and ethics at Netflix until last spring. Hunt now says he has a new job, and posted a lovely thank you note to everyone who helped him through his six months of job searching — but hasn’t actually disclosed where he’s going. One clue: he did also recently say he had a critical interview in Seattle. Hmmm.
Antonio Abbadessa is stepping down from Google, where he has been head of ethics and business integrity in the EMEA region for the last three years. No word yet on what Abbadessa plans to do next, but he does say that he is “very excited to start a new chapter of my professional career soon.” Radical Compliance will stay tuned.
And another departure: Christina Ringle is leaving Philips after nearly 22 years at the firm, the last eight of them in various compliance roles. Ringle most recently had been a compliance manager. We’ll keep tabs on her future updates too.
Revolution Medicines has hired Jenilyne Jose as senior manager for SOX compliance and financial reporting. Jose comes to Revolution, a Silicon Valley biotech working on cancer treatments, after six years at audit firm Moss Adams, where she most recently was a business risk manager.
Jeremy Brown has joined Tokio Marine HCC as manager of compliance and operations. Brown comes to the insurance firm after 28 years at Swiss Re, the last nine of them as an internal auditor.
Arch, a provider of financial services to cryptocurrency speculators investors, has hired Antonia Savaria as head of legal and compliance. Savaria comes to Arch from Block, another blandly named financial services firm, where she had been compliance program management lead.
Michael Harry has been named chief compliance officer for the Office of the Arkansas Treasurer. Harry had previously been across town at the Arkansas Secretary of State’s office as a managing attorney.
The Menarini Group, an Italian pharmaceutical manufacturer, has hired Eduardo Becerril as compliance manager for the company’s Mexico operations. Becerril had previously been compliance coordinator for Daikin Airconditioning’s Mexico division.
Pharmaceutical manufacturer UCB has hired Nicholas Lawrence as head of global compliance, monitoring, and insights. Lawrence was last seen at Amazon, where he had been head of compliance monitoring for Amazon’s pharmacy operations until October.
TD Bank has hired Yelena Kobzar for governance and control in its U.S. wealth management division; one of the many compliance hires TD is making lately after its big AML settlement a few months ago. Kobzar comes to TD from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, where she had been global financial crimes manager since 2022.
Sarah Osborne has joined Ambitious About Autism, a U.K. nonprofit supporting autistic children, as head of governance and compliance. Osborne previously spent 12 years at Kent Community Foundation, most recently as director of governance and operations.
KnowBe4, a cybersecurity training and testing company (read: they send fake phishing emails to see whether you’ll click on the link), has hired Elina Sinyagin as compliance counsel. Sinyagin comes to the company from Red Lion Controls, where she most recently had been compliance counsel and export controls officer.
Mohammed Alshebli has joined GE Vernova as compliance leader for the Middle East, based in Saudi Arabia. Alshebli previously worked for the Saudi Arabian government as a director of compliance.
And remember Jeremy Tye, last seen at HSBC as a senior compliance advisory manager until he left the bank in November? Just turned up at Stonebridge, a mortgage and insurance network in the United Kingdom, as interim risk manager.

Retirement services company Athene has promoted William Mescher from regulatory compliance counsel to senior regulatory compliance counsel.

Vendors and Service Providers
Customer win! Creand Crèdit Andorrà has chosen NICE Actimize to overhaul the financial services firm’s anti-money laundering compliance program. Newsworthy because this gives us a reason to mention Andorra, a first in Radical Compliance history.
