Compliance Jobs Report: March 21

The Compliance Jobs Report this week has retirements at IBM, United Airlines, and elsewhere; plus new hires at Fonterra, Vizient, Inspire, Allianz, and more. We also have promotions to note at Harley Davidson, Flipkart, Nordea, and Xylem (among others), and job leads in airlines, manufacturing, and higher education.

Always remember that we need your help to make the Report work, so send me some news! You can easily find updates from your LinkedIn contacts by visiting the My Network tab on your own profile and then checking the Stay in Touch option at the top of that page.

We also take any other gossip you might have, even confidentially. If you have a tip to pass along, email me at mkelly@radicalcompliance.com or find me on LinkedIn.

Compliance Jobs

This week we begin with a changing of the compliance guard at IBM. First, the company announced that assistant general counsel and chief compliance officer Hans vad Hansen has decided to retire after 26 years with the firm. Second, Indrani Franchini will succeed him as IBM’s next chief compliance officer starting April 1. Franchini most recently was chief compliance officer at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals until last summer, and previously held senior compliance roles at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Hess, and Pfizer

Next is another retirement: Nancy Jacobson has announced that she is retiring from United Airlines after seven years as managing counsel for global ethics and compliance at the airline. United is recruiting a successor, Jacabson says; details are in the Open Req Orders section below.

And one more retirement! Doug Seefus, currently head of conduct risk at First Citizens Bank in Buffalo, is hanging up the cape after 37 years in the business. Seefus previously worked at Silicon Valley Bank, Wells Fargo, and other firms over the years; here’s hoping he keeps reading Radical Compliance.
