Compliance Jobs Report: March 28

The Compliance Jobs Report this week has a big promotion at Uber, a CCO departure at Sonic Healthcare, and other new hires, promotions, and other gossip from Edelman, American Honda, State Street, and many more. Job leads this week are in Connecticut, Nebraska, and South Carolina; and Meme of the Week goes out to messaging apps.

Always remember that we need your help to make the Report work, so send me some news! You can easily find updates from your LinkedIn contacts by visiting the My Network tab on your own profile and then checking the Stay in Touch option at the top of that page.

We also take any other gossip you might have, even confidentially. If you have a tip to pass along, email me at mkelly@radicalcompliance.com or find me on LinkedIn.

Crespo had previously worked at Thermo Fisher for seven years as director of compliance for Brazil and Latin America. (Gotta love that Brazil was identified as separate from the rest of the region; I know a few Brazilians who would say yes, that’s how it should be.)

Maria Belfield has turned up at Citibank, where she is a vice president of product compliance. Belfield was last seen at Gregory Funding, a mortgage financing firm, where she had been associate compliance counsel until last summer.

Harish Ganesan has joined Barclays as assistant vice president of internal audit for financial crimes, working from the bank’s operations center in India. Ganesan had previously worked at Citibank in various roles, most recently as a GRC manager.

Vendors & Service Providers

We have a new sighting of Gerry Zack, formerly CEO of the Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics until he left SCCE last fall. Zack has now formally launched a new consulting business, RiskTrek, providing various ethics, risk, and compliance consulting services. Zack has actually been doing this for several months but nothing is real until you announce it on LinkedIn.
