Compliance Jobs
This week we begin with two items this week from Tyson Foods. First, the food giant has hired Yim Woodman to be regional compliance officer for Asia-Pacific, working from Bangkok; Woodman comes to Tyson after four years at Agoda, an online travel firm, where she had been director of ethics and compliance. Tyson has also hired Claudia Cardoso as another regional compliance officer, focusing more on Latin America. Cardoso previously spent 13 years at CEVA Logistics, where she most recently had been senior vice president of legal and risk management.
Unisys has hired Kalyan Kuncha as regional compliance officer for Asia-Pacific, working from India. (This means he gets to work with the delightful Gwen Hassan, promoted to Unisys CCO earlier this year.) Kuncha previously worked for two years at Infosys, where he had been principal legal counsel.
Rhonwyn Watson has retired from L3Harris Technologies, where she had been the ethics and compliance lead. Watson had been ethics and compliance manager at Aerojet Rocketdyne when L3Harris acquired that company in 2021, and spent more than 25 years at Boeing before that in ethics and compliance roles.
Miranda Teed has been hired by online sports gambling site Fanatics as director of SOX compliance and financial controls. Teed comes to Fanatics from Weedmaps (I think we can all guess what that business does), where she had been senior SOX and accounting projects manager.
Eaton has hired Greg Folger as director of regional compliance. Folger comes to Eaton from AdeptAg, a provider of irrigation technologies and other “controlled environment production services,” where he had been corporate controller for the last three years.
Nikki Morant has joined American Express as a compliance manager, where she will be in charge of complaints oversight. Morant previously worked at Discover Financial Services, where she had been a principal compliance specialist working on compliance testing.
Norwegian logistics firm Wallenius Wilhelmsen has hired Merridith Kristoffersen as compliance manager. Kristoffersen joins Wallenius after 11 years at Yara International, a food conglomerate based in Norway, where she most recently was ethics and compliance manager.
Arcadis has hired Malin Petrocchi as global compliance director. Petrocchi comes to the Dutch professional services firm Prosus Group, a Dutch firm that invests in consumer internet businesses around the world, where she had been senior compliance manager and in charge of the firm’s internal hotline.
iCapital, a financial technology business based in New York, has hired Edward Dyelewski as vice president of compliance. Dyelewski joins the firm after nine years at Prudential, where he had been a compliance manager since 2022.
Energy grid services firm Qualus has hired Robert Burgett as director of IT security and compliance. Burgett joins the business from Rotech Healthcare, where he had been director of IT security.
Tim Pasaribu has joined cybersecurity software firm Splunk as senior manager for product compliance. Pasaribu comes to Splunk from Salesforce, where he had been security GRC manager.
Japanese financial services firm Mizuho has hired Fred Mastromarino as executive director and compliance officer in the firm’s equities division. Mastromarino joins Mizuho from BNY Mellon, where he had been director of controls for the fixed income and equities division.
JPMorgan Chase has hired Sravan Paritala as vice president and compliance analytics lead, working from offices in Philadelphia. Paritala previously spent five years at Rabobank, also as vice president of compliance analytics.
Payments processor Finix has hired Daniel Resendez as head of compliance (and associate general counsel, although of course that part is less cool than the compliance role). Resendez comes to Finix after a few years at FIS, where most recently he had been senior director of payments compliance.
Lindsey Casey has left Amazon after nearly 10 years there in various compliance roles, most recently as program development lead. Says she has something next in the works, but no details yet.
Susan Weston has joined Honest Health as director of compliance. Weston comes to the Nashville-based healthcare system after 18 months at Peak Health, where she had been compliance manager.
Andrea Nease has parted ways with Ballast Advisors, a financial planning firm in Florida, where she had been vice president of compliance for eight years. She’s currently doing some consulting under the name Cypress & Magnolia Consulting, which is a lovely business name.
The Forward Group, a corporate and trust services firm based on the British isle of Jersey, has hired Marie Morris as head of compliance. Morris comes to Forward from MapleFS, another Jersey financial services firm, where she had been head of anti-money laundering compliance.
And Bluestem Capital Partners, a municipal investment advisory firm based in Nebraska, has hired Megan Happel as a compliance specialist. Happel previously worked at FIS as a senior analyst.
Moving Up the Ladder
Global engineering firm TYLin has promoted Emily Vijayakirthi from global compliance and employment managing counsel to vice president and global compliance counsel. Always nice to see compliance get dedicated attention!
SwissRe has promoted Nirupama Madhwesh from head of compliance solutions to senior VP and head of financial crime compliance frameworks.
Danish software firm Teracloud has promoted Elena Artemi from country manager for Greece to director of global compliance.
Canadian investment firm Onex has promoted Jake Goldberg from compliance manager to deputy chief compliance officer.
Nokia has promoted Gourav Ladha from IT quality and compliance transformation lead to head of quality and compliance.
Rentokil Terminix has promoted Heidi Kerkeslager from senior applications manager for finance and accounting to senior manager for IT governance, risk, and compliance.
And Capital One has promoted China Jackson from process engineer to manager of AML compliance testing.
Vendors and Service Providers
Ian O’Keefe has left his job at Airbus, where he had been a senior compliance manager and business investigations lead, to join law firm Womble Bond Dickinson as associate attorney.
Open Req Orders
Albemarle is recruiting a chief ethics and compliance officer. This would be the successor to Andrew McBride, who was Albemarle’s CCO through its big FCPA settlement and then departed in 2024 to open his own consulting shop. Albemarle’s then-deputy general counsel took over the role, and then kept holding the title when she was promoted to general counsel later last year. Anyway, now the company wants a full-time CCO. Job is based in Charlotte, N.C. No salary range listed but given the company’s history here, hold out for beaucoup bucks.
Real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield is looking for a vice president of global ethics and compliance. Job is based in New York City, with a salary range of $221,000 to $260,000. Seems like C&W is also hiring for a VP of investigations and a director of global data privacy, too!
Boston Children’s Hospital is looking for a senior director of enterprise risk management, who will report into the hospital’s CCO. Job is based in Boston. No salary range provided! Disappointing, I thought Massachusetts was better than that.
