Compliance Jobs Report: Nov. 14
This week the Compliance Jobs Report includes some regional CCO hires at Walmart, a new CCO at the troubled Australian stock exchange, and more news from Google, Cooper Companies, McKinsey, Penn State, and lots more. Job leads are in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and life insurance; Meme of the Week goes out to the Epstein Files.
We also take any other gossip you might have, even confidentially. If you have a tip to pass along, email me at [email protected] or find me on LinkedIn.
Compliance Jobs
This week we begin with updates from Walmart. First, the company has hired Jane Duke as chief ethics and compliance officer for FlipKart, the e-commerce giant in India owned by Walmart. Duke comes to Walmart after seven years at Tyson Foods, most recently as associate general counsel for regulatory and enforcement.
Second, Diego Alvarez is rejoining Walmart as chief ethics and compliance officer for Central America (at least, so says Rachel Brand, chief legal officer for Walmart). Alvarez had been chief compliance officer at Fortrex Solutions since 2023, but prior to that he was at Walmart for nine years and was a senior director in international ethics and compliance when he left in 2023.
Pharmaceuticals manufacturer Keenova has hired Olga Zinavenka as head of compliance operations. Zinavenka comes to the company after seven years at Endo, most recently as executive director of compliance operations.
Brandon LeFlore-Németh has joined Momentum Behavior Services as director of compliance. LeFlore-Németh comes to the social services agency from the Department of Veterans Affairs, where he had been executive officer for management and program analysis. Now he’s building a compliance program of his own!
Google has hired Emily Wood as senior risk and compliance lead for AI and content, a modern-sounding job title for compliance professionals if ever one existed. Wood previously spent six years at PwC in its cybersecurity and privacy practice.
ASX, operator of the Australian Stock Exchange, has named Lucinda McCann as chief compliance officer. McCann comes to the exchange from law firm Norton Rose Fulbright, where she had been a partner since February; but prior to that she spent five years at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, most recently as general counsel. McCann succeeds Daniel Moran, who departed earlier this year as part of a larger shakeup at ASX under new board and CEO leadership.
Par Health, a manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals recently spun off from Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, has named Megan Roberts as head of integrity and compliance. Roberts previously spent nearly nine years at Mallinckrodt and had been senior director of integrity and compliance.
Petri Luukkanen has joined TD Securities as director of U.S. markets transaction banking compliance advisory. Luukkanen comes to TD from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, where he had been head of transaction banking compliance.
Jason Parrish has joined Timeline, a rather coolly named company in London that provides technology to financial advisers, as head of risk and compliance. Parrish comes to Timeline from Climate Asset Management, where he had been chief risk and compliance officer since 2020.
Penn State University has hired Kristen Roe as its next Title IX compliance director. Roe comes to Penn State after 10 years at Montgomery College in Maryland, where she most recently had been head of ADA compliance and the Title IX coordinator.
Esteban Ortiz Jaramillo has joined the Vellar Group, a privately held investment fund, as chief compliance officer. Based in Colombia, Jaramillo previously worked at the International Committee of the Red Cross as regional investigations officer for the Americas.

In Singapore, Summer Yu has a new job as chief compliance officer at Alpha Ladder Group, a fintech working in stablecoins and greentech investments. Yu had previously been at ByteDance since 2022 as global head of compliance.
And Iris Steyer has left her job as vice president of compliance and sustainability at Autodoc to become general counsel of Alpinitronic, an Italian maker of electric vehicle charging stations. We wish her well in her new role but obviously losing the word “compliance” in your title is a shame.
