Compliance Jobs
This week we begin with an update on Mike Althouse, who previously announced his exit from Green Dot Corp. a few weeks ago, where he’d been chief compliance officer. Althouse had moved to payments firm Block, where he will be team lead for the firm’s compliance management system.
Roosevelt Road Specialty, an insurance firm that caters to large real estate development projects, has hired Jim Wrynn as global chief compliance officer. Wrynn comes to Roosevelt Road from FTI Consulting, where he had been senior managing director and head of FTI’s insurance practice since 2021.
Girl Scouts of the USA has hired Samantha Bement as vice president of enterprise risk and compliance. Bement comes to the Scouts after 13 years at RSM, where she had been director of business risk consulting since 2018.
Judy Ringholz has a new job as chief compliance officer at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Fla. Ringholz comes to Memorial after a year as senior managing director at Conflixis, a compliance software vendor; prior to that was chief compliance officer at Broward Health.
Citibank has hired Tiphaine Delobel as vice president and markets compliance product officer. Delobal, who is based in Paris, previously worked at Exclusive Partners, a boutique financial services firm, where she had been compliance manager for investment services.
Benjamin Whitfield has joined ImmunityBio, a biotech startup in San Diego; he’s senior director of corporate compliance here. Whitfield previously worked at Archer (the aerospace Archer, not the GRC firm Archer) as head of security.
Cortland, a real estate firm in Atlanta that builds and manages apartment complexes, has hired Greg Shultz as chief compliance officer. Shultz comes to Cortland after 18 months running Conformitise, a small compliance consulting firm.
Katherine Moore, who had been deputy chief compliance officer at the University of Florida for eight years, just moved upstate to take a job as deputy chief compliance officer at the University of Northern Florida.
Cassandra Hanke has been hired as deputy chief compliance officer at Ancora Holdings, a wealth management and insurance firm based in Maryland. Hanke, who’s based in Cleveland, comes to Ancora after six years at PIMCO, where she most recently was a compliance supervisor.
Husky Technologies, a Canadian firm that works in the medical device and packaging industries, has hired Linelle Palmer as trade compliance manager for the Americas. Palmer previously was customs and logistics manager for Danby Appliances, whose noble motto is “We always strive to do the right thing.”
Michelle Takyi has been hired by Principal Financial Group as compliance director. Takyi comes to Principal after three years at R/GA, an advertising business in New York, where she had been global associate director of employee relations and legal compliance.
Joseph Stafford has joined TD Securities as a vice president of compliance. Stafford previously worked at Deutsche Bank as an assistant VP of origination and advisory compliance.
Online sports betting business Superbet has hired Chris Binham as vice president of compliance. Binham comes to the company (based in Romania, although Binham works from London) after six years at Draft Kings, where he most recently had been vice president of global gaming compliance.
Empire Life Investments, an investment management company in Ontario (“exclusively focused on managing investment solutions for Canadians”), has hired Dawn Snyder as assistant chief compliance officer. Snyder joins Empire from PPI, an insurance business for independent investment advisers, where she had been a compliance consultant for 18 months.
Isabel Urgiles-Muñoz has joined fintech platform iCreditWorks as a senior compliance specialist. She previously worked at New Jersey-based Kearny Bank as a fair lending compliance analyst.
Zscaler, a cybersecurity firm, has hired Chelsea Reyes as trade compliance counsel. Reyes comes to Zscaler after six years at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, where she most recently had been a senior attorney.
In Argentina, Ysabelyn Ruiz has left Accenture after six years in various compliance roles there, most recently as an ethics and compliance specialist and due diligence team lead. Ruiz has joined oil services firm Tenaris as legal counsel; even though she’s defected to legal, we’re sure her heart is still with compliance.
Liz Hoffman has joined Raytheon as a manager in the global ethics office. Hoffman previously worked at software firm Ansys for three years as ethics and compliance program manager.
KeyBank has hired Michal Malec as vice president and senior compliance manager for wealth management and trust testing. Malec comes to KeyBank from Northern Trust, where he had been a senior auditor in the asset and wealth management division.
Ivette Wahnon just turned up at Competitive Power Ventures as a senior SOX compliance officer. Wahnon joins the Maryland-based utility from VSE Corp., where she had been an internal auditor from 2017 until last summer.
Airbus has hired Tony Moxon as export compliance manager. Moxon, based in Britain, previously worked at Milrem Robotics, where he also had been an export compliance manager.
Tori Gantzer has joined social media giant Snap as a compliance analyst. Gantzer comes to the company after several years at Ernst & Young, where she most recently was an associate in the forensic and integrity services practice.
Sara Lowe has moved to Commerzbank in London, where she is compliance officer for regulatory risk and control oversight. Lowe joins Commerzbank after three years at Citibank’s London offices, where she had been vice president of operational risk events and escalations.
And in Australia, HR consulting firm Mercer has hired Dina Luo as “senior manager of compliance (super)” which clearly wins cool job title of the week. Luo comes to Mercer from Colonial First State, an Australian retirement planning firm, where she had been senior manager for compliance and breach reporting.
Moving Up the Ladder
Our big promotion this week is at BP (previously known as British Petroleum), which has moved up Ayana McIntosh-Lee to be global chief ethics and compliance officer. McIntosh-Lee has worked at BP for more than 20 years, and most recently had been senior vice president of engagement, people, and culture since 2024.
Partners Capital, a British financial firm that serves as an outsourced investment office for endowments, has promoted Charlie Baillie from principal in compliance to head of compliance for Europe.
Alison Fuller has moved up at Heathos, from director of compliance to senior director.
Altruist Financial, a platform for registered investment advisers, has promoted Calli Westerlund from director of compliance to head of compliance.
The Schulte Hospitality Group has promoted Natashia Durham from director of compliance to vice president of compliance.
Open Req Orders
BAE Systems is hiring for a business conduct specialist principal. Job is based in Falls Church, Va., with a salary range of $99,400 to $169,000.
Victoria’s Secret is looking for two senior legal analysts for third-party risk. One job is based in Columbus, Ohio, with a salary range of $84,000 to $114,975; the other is based in New York City, with a salary range of $96,800 to $132,200.
The city of Chicago is looking for an inspector general. Job is based in Chicago (duh), and you must be a licensed lawyer with previous inspector general experience. Salary is $200,892.
