Another brisk Compliance Jobs Report! This week we have news from O-I Glass, CBRE, Marriott, MKS, and a slew of financial firms. We also have promotions at Amazon, Cash App, Medline Industries, Uber, and elsewhere; plus job leads in real estate, medical devices, and telecom. Plus our Meme of the Week!

Compliance Jobs
This week we begin with a changing of the compliance guard: Jack Radke, chief ethics and compliance officer at O-I Glass Inc. since 2011, has retired. Radke has been in the ethics and compliance world for nearly 40 years, and previously was chief ethics officer at UnitedHealth and director of ethics at H.J. Heinz.
Succeeding Radke at O-I Glass (which proudly proclaims “We love glass!” in their marketing materials) will be Lisa Lay. Lay has been with O-I for 10 years, and previously had been assistant general counsel.
Jisha Dymond has stepped down as chief ethics and compliance officer at GRC software provider OneTrust. Dymond had been CCO at OneTrust since 2022; before that, she was head of regulatory compliance and risk at Twitter. Dymond says she is now going to chill out and relax for a while before deciding what’s next.
Blackstone Life Sciences, the life sciences division of the Blackstone asset management behemoth, just hired Alicia Novak as chief compliance officer. Novak comes to Blackstone after four years at HarbourVest Partners, where most recently she had been deputy chief compliance officer. She’s based in Boston.
And news from another financial firm in Boston! Private equity firm Providence Equity Partners has hired Deborah Chipkin as chief compliance officer. Chipkin joins the firm after four years at First Eagle Investments, where she had been vice president of compliance.
Octagon Credit Investors, an investment adviser firm working on leveraged loans and high-yield bonds, has hired Cheryl Zabala as chief compliance officer. Zabala enters the Octagon after four years at Pretium, where she also had been chief compliance officer.
Hong Kong financial services firm Amicorp Group has hired Deolinda Delcarme as head of compliance in its South Africa operations. Delcarme joins Amicorp from insurance firm Sanlam, where she had been senior manager for compliance, legal, and risk. (This is Amicorp’s second recent compliance hire in South Africa, by the way.)
Aleem Jackson has joined small-business lender Libertas Funding as chief compliance officer. Jackson previously worked at Bankwell, a commercial bank based in Connecticut, as director of risk management.
Biotech products manufacturer CSL has hired Mary Beth Longerbeam as senior manager for global trade compliance in the Americas region. Longerbeam comes to CSL after five years at W.R. Grace, where she also had been trade compliance manager for the Americas.
David Ladwig has a new gig at Musco Lighting, a maker of commercial-grade lighting systems (ball fields, construction projects, and so forth), as customs and logistics compliance analyst. Ladwig previously worked at LDJ Manufacturing as compliance and EHS manager.
Staffing firm Averro has hired Kelsey Groff as compliance manager. Groff comes to Averro after four years at NuWest Group, where she had been a quality assurance manager.
And staffing firm Behavioral Health Staff, which focuses on staffing in the mental health fields, has hired Barbara Holmes as compliance director. Holmes previously worked at Mindlance Health as senior onboarding specialist.
Capital Rx has hired Rosemary Benton as senior director of compliance. Benton comes to the healthcare technology firm from Rite Aid, where she had been manager of compliance operations for the last year.
Real estate giant CBRE has hired Adam Baker as anti-corruption senior compliance manager, working from CBRE’s offices in England. Baker joins CBRE from Deutsche Bank, where he had also worked on anti-bribery and corruption issues in the U.K.
Meanwhile, CBRE Investment Management has hired Tamara Dugar as compliance officer for the EMEA region, working from Amsterdam. Dugar previously worked at CACEIS, an asset servicing provider to large European banks, where she had been depositary control officer.
Semiconductor equipment manufacturer MKS has hired Erica Tribbett as senior director of global integrity and compliance. Tribbet joins MKS after two years at Regal Rexnord, where she was global corporate compliance director.
First Citizens Bank has hired Victoria Corral as senior compliance analyst. Corral comes to First Citizens after nearly 10 years at JPMorgan Chase, where she had been a customer due diligence officer for the California market.
Matt Wach has joined LoanDepot as director of compliance. Wach comes to LoanDepot from Cypress Loan Servicing, where he had been vice president of compliance.
Philip Brown has joined Bitcoin Depot as chief compliance officer. Brown comes to the fintech firm after three years at Banxa (the fintech provider for Banksy, I think) where most recently he was director of compliance for North America.
Marriott International just tapped Karina Bakshi-Azar as legal counsel for global compliance. Bakshi-Azar previously worked at law firm Skadden Arps as an associate in its compliance and investigations practice.
Kenny Douglas has been hired by SunMark Community Bank in Perry, Ga., as chief compliance officer. Douglas comes to SunMark after four years at Regions Bank, where he most recently had been working on fair lending compliance.
Global payments firm Clearpay has hired Ashley Trickett as compliance officer. She joins Clearpay from JPMorgan’s U.K. operations, where Trickett had been a program manager in the central controls office.
And for the third week in a row, we have news from American Express: it just hired Valentin Carrique as manager of global risk and compliance. Carrique comes to Amex after six years at Prudential Financial, where he most recently was a compliance manager.
Moving Up the Ladder
Amazon has promoted Daniela Alvia from global senior product manager to global senior risk and compliance manager.
Cash App has promoted Juan Nunez from global financial crimes program manager to product compliance manager.
Crawford & Co., a provider of outsourced services to the insurance industry, has promoted Catherine Thompson from IT audit director to senior director of IT and SOX compliance.
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (a stellar hospital, by the way) has promoted Andrej Ausing from project manager to compliance manager
Advertising services firm Emerald has promoted Eric Marshall from corporate privacy manager to director of compliance.
Geisinger has promoted Kristen Russell from travel and expense compliance analyst to ethics and compliance specialist.
Vanguard has promoted April Budzilowicz from compliance analyst to senior compliance analyst.
Medline Industries has promoted Paul Vaccarello from senior global trade compliance analyst to manager of global trade compliance.
Norwegian energy producer Statkraft has promoted Himani Bagga from compliance officer to senior compliance officer.
Third Bridge Group, an investment research firm, has promoted Demi Henriquez from assistant vice president of compliance to vice president.
And Uber has moved Dianna Renea Jones from director of legal and trade compliance to director of commercial and emerging risks.
Vendors & Service Providers
The Institute of Internal Auditors has named Stefano Comotti chairman of the IIA global board for the upcoming year. Comotti is chief audit executive of luxury goods maker Kering in Paris, and had previously been vice-chair of the IIA board.
Open Req Orders
Medline Industries is looking to hire a director of global trade compliance. Job is based in suburban Chicago, with a salary range of $153,000 to $229,000.
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a vice president of investigations. Job can be based in either Chicago or New York City, with a salary range of $225,000 to $265,000. Plus, you’d get to work with the great Ellen Hunt!
Vonage, the Internet phone service business now remaking itself as a provider of “business innovation through network-powered solutions,” is apparently also remaking its ethics and compliance function to match; the company is hiring a senior compliance counsel. Job can be remote on the East Coast. Salary range not provided.
