Another big Compliance Jobs Report this week! We have new hires at Raytheon, Honeywell, Mitsubishi, Pepsico, and a surprising bundle of news from Australia! Promotions at BAT, Goldman Sachs, Hilton, Mars, and more; plus job leads in manufacturing, gambling, and social media.

We also take any other gossip you might have, even confidentially. If you have a tip to pass along, email me at [email protected] or find me on LinkedIn.

Compliance Jobs

This week we begin at Raytheon, which continues to build up its ethics and compliance ranks after a major corruption settlement in 2024. The company just hired Jason McMackin as associate director of its global ethics office. McMackin comes to Raytheon from L3Harris Technologies, where he most recently had been a legal compliance specialist.

Mental health startup Rula has hired Christ Zitzer as vice president of compliance, ethics, and privacy. Zitzer joins the firm, which helps to match therapists and mental health patients, from AmeriHealth Caritas, where he had been chief compliance officer since the start of 2023.

Kristel Imeraj has parted ways with Koch Industries after five years there, most recently as senior audit manager. Imeraj has joined Stand Together, a nonprofit organization, where she is associate director of internal audit.

Quest Diagnostics has hired Samantha Molleda as director of compliance for its Eastern region. Molleda comes to Quest from Brightside Health, a mental health organization, where she had been director of compliance since last year.

Remember Liz Atlee, last seen as chief ethics and compliance officer at real estate giant CBRE until last September? She recently turned up at FiveStar Gourmet Foods as general counsel and chief compliance officer. One assumes her office has great snacks in the breakroom.

Mitsubishi Motors North America has hired Mercedes Hernandez as trade compliance manager. Hernandez comes to Mitsubishi after three years at QAD Precision, where she had been a foreign trade consultant.

Diana Health, a women’s healthcare startup (which proudly says “We’re hiring!” on its LinkedIn profile), has hired Mala Narasimhan as quality and compliance manager. Narasimhan comes to the company from the Health Resources and Services Administration (a subsidiary of the Department of Health & Human Services), where she had been a public health adviser.

Emily Steed has left Google, where she had been senior manager for privacy and security policies. She has joined Bloomberg to be senior risk manager.

Sweet: Paul McClung has joined Honeywell as vice president of corporate audit for the conglomerate’s Solstice Advanced Materials unit. McClung previously worked at WestRock until last year as vice president of internal audit.

Guardant Health has hired Jesse Nord as GRC lead. Nord previously worked at Kestra Medical Technologies as information security and data privacy partner.

Pepsico has hired Nayeli Castillo as a global trade compliance manager, working from Mexico. Castillo comes to Pepsico from Constellation Brands, where she most recently was foreign trade compliance lead for Mexico.

Clip, a delightfully named digital commerce platform in Mexico, has named Elia Hernández ethics and integrity coordinator. Hernández previously worked at Citibanamex for four years as an ethics investigator.

In Dallas, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group has hired Shamdia Odunsi as vice president of issues management for the Americas region, which is likely to keep her plenty busy since we all have so many issues these days. Anyway, Odunsi joins MUFJ after four years at Johnson & Johnson, where she had been a senior manager for supply chain finance.

TD Bank, continuing its string of compliance-related hiring after a huge money-laundering settlement last year, has hired Derek Jones as compliance testing manager. Jones had previously been a regulatory examiner at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

And we close this week with a bunch of personnel items from Australia! First, Daniel Moran is stepping down as chief compliance officer of ASX, the Australia Stock Exchange. Moran had been CCO since 2023 and worked in various roles there for nearly 16 years. He is the fourth senior exec to depart from ASX recently amid regulators’ concerns about the exchange’s risk management capabilities.

Next, Shane Isbester was just hired as compliance manager for Direct Wealth in Queensland. Isbester comes to the firm from Spark Financial Group in Brisbane, where he most recently was head of professional standards and governance.

Jimmy Ly has joined the University of Western Australia in Perth as financial reporting and compliance manager. Ly comes to UWA from Mineral Resources Ltd., where he had been transactional treasury manager. Go Peacocks!

And Susan Xie has been hired at Sequoia Financial Group, a financial services firm in Melbourne, as advice compliance officer. Xie had previously worked at Commonwealth Bank as advice remediation case manager. Not sure whether the “advice” part of the job titles is an Australia thing but I like it!
