Compliance Jobs

This week we begin up in the air: Charles Paré has joined Qatar Airways as senior vice president for governance, compliance, and data protection. Paré previously spent three years at the World Economic Forum as chief integrity officer, and built up the compliance function at CEVA Logistics before that.

Back on the ground, Mark Rowe has been named chief integrity and compliance officer at Scout Motors, maker of electric trucks and SUVs. Rowe had been running his own compliance consulting firm for the last year or so; prior to that he was director of ethics and compliance at DXC Technology.

Equifax has hired Leandro Sousa as senior director of compliance and legal, where it looks like his marching orders are to integrate AI and process automation in the credit reporting agency’s compliance operations. Sousa comes to Equifax from Fannie Mae, where he had been senior legal operations manager working on the mortgage giant’s AI program.

Cadien Mayers has joined Mastercard as chief compliance officer, running the anti-money laundering and sanctions compliance function across Mastercard’s transaction services operations. Vomela Companies, a mid-sized graphics business headquartered in Minnesota, has hired Teresa Paver as corporate compliance officer. Stephen Podobinkski has joined Sleep Number Co., maker of those personalized mattresses you see advertised on TV, as director of governance, risk, and compliance. Podobinkski comes to Sleep Number from grocery giant Albertsons, where he most recently had been senior manager of cybersecurity. (If he gets a free mattress as part of the package I will be so envious…)

CapitalOne has hired Nicholas Martino as a senior manager for enterprise services compliance. Martino previously worked at USAA as director of compliance and operational risk testing.
